Every Journey Matters teaches new skills and promotes wellbeing

Starting early in 2023, Every Journey matters, funded by the Heritage Lottery and in partnership with Legacy WM, is an education resource celebrating diverse local heritage and promoting inclusion, to be used within schools and beyond the classroom. We have created a resource pack with our partners from Legacy WM to teach the history and culture in a more diverse and inclusive way, including varied content delivery styles.

Every Journey Matters is a training programme that teaches new skills and promotes wellbeing with the local community and encourages volunteering through interviewing, particularly amongst young people.

We have carried out local heritage walks delivered by the Heritage Officer for schools.
